

Dosage:
Algafen 200mg (Short-term treatment of fever and pain)
- Children and Adolescents (12 to 18 years): Take 1 or 2 tablets with water, up to three times a day as required.
- Adults: Take 2 tablets with water, up to three times a day as required.
- Note: Leave at least four hours between doses and do not take more than 6 tablets in any 24-hour period.
Algafen 400mg (Short-term treatment of fever and pain):
- Adults and children aged 12 years and older: Take 1 tablet with water, up to three times a day.
- Note: Leave at least four hours between doses and do not take more than 3 tablets in 24 hours.
Pack Size:
Available in a pack size of 1000 tablets (as indicated by the packaging text “1000 tablets” on the layout).
Indication:
In adults and children over 12 years:
- Short-term treatment of fever and pain of mild to moderate intensity, including dysmenorrhea.
- Long-term symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation in chronic inflammatory rheumatic diseases.

Constituents
Each 5 mL of the expectorant contains:
Chlorpheniramine maleate BP: 2.5 mg

Indications
Piriton Expectorant is indicated for:
Relief of cough.
Congestion associated with common cold, catarrh, and respiratory tract infections.
Dosage Guidelines
All listed doses are to be taken three or four times daily, or as directed by a physician:
Piriton Expectorant Child
Children (2–6 years): Half to one teaspoonful (2.5–5 mL).
Children (6–12 years): One to two teaspoonfuls (5–10 mL).
Piriton Expectorant Adult
Adults & Children (above 12 years): Two teaspoonfuls (10 mL).
