Dosage
- Children: 50–100 mg/kg/day depending on the infection and severity.
- Adults: 1g–2g, 1–2 times daily depending on the infection and severity.

Constituents
Each 5 mL of the expectorant contains:
Chlorpheniramine maleate BP: 2.5 mg
Ammonium Chloride BP: 125 mg
Sodium Citrate BP: 50 mg
Indications
Piriton Expectorant is indicated for:
Relief of cough.
Congestion associated with common cold, catarrh, and respiratory tract infections.
Dosage Guidelines
All listed doses are to be taken three or four times daily, or as directed by a physician:
Piriton Expectorant Child
Children (2–6 years): Half to one teaspoonful (2.5–5 mL).
Children (6–12 years): One to two teaspoonfuls (5–10 mL).
Piriton Expectorant Adult
Adults & Children (above 12 years): Two teaspoonfuls (10 mL).
